LONDON - Mr T has been persuaded to 'get on a plane' to tour the UK next year so that he can promote Snickers as part of the ongoing 'Get some nuts' campaign.
In common with BA Baracus, his character in The A-Team, Mr T is also said to be scared of flying, but will touch down in the UK next year as part of an experiential tour for the Mars-owned brand.

Earlier this year an ad for the brand that featured Mr T urging a speed walker to 'run like a real man' drew accusations of homophobia and was subsequently withdrawn.
Despite this, the brand is to continue to use the 80s icon. The speedwalker campaign, originally made for the UK, has been adapted for several other markets, including the US and Australia.
