Matt Bandy, a former digital strategist at Mindshare, has launched a social-business networking site called Getlunched, aimed squarely at the media and marketing communities.

Getlunched.com aims to combine the best elements of sites like LinkedIn, FourSquare and Groupon, to enable people to develop their careers by inviting someone to lunch who can share their business and career advice.
Based on the premise a working lunch can be invaluable for generating and focusing solely on specific business ideas and objectives, it aims to tap into the latest location-based networking technology.
The site allows people to search and meet with people in their local area for a value exchange over a lunch, or to simply access a great local lunch deal.
Bandy is launching the site in association with AOL Go Viral’s Lyndon Gasking.
Getlunched.com launches with support from some of the industry’s best known networkers, including Ogilvy's Rory Sutherland, Engine Group’s Robin Wight, Bartle Bogle Hegarty’s Peter Sells and Resonate’s Will Scougal.
Sutherland said: "It's about time someone brought back lunch. A sandwich at one's desk is neither dignified nor productive."
Getlunched.com is at beta stage but a special invite-code has been created for a limited time for members of the media and marketing communities to join - GetlunchedBETA.
