Matthew Dearden: chief executive of Clear Channel
Specialists IPM, Kinetic and Posterscope also have shortlisted entries in the five award categories and the winners will be announced on April 25.
The Outdoor Planning awards, which recognise the effective and intelligent planning of outdoor, are now in their sixth year and have been expanded to fully represent the growing sector.
A wide range of brands are also on the shortlists, including Heathrow Airport, Sky, Coke Zero, KFC, Specsavers, The Huffington Post UK, The National Lottery, ESPN, Heineken, ITV Rugby World Cup, Lynx, Posterscope Treasure Hunt, Xbox Forza Motorsport 4, Google, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, Heineken Champions League Final, M&S, McDonalds, Virgin Media, Nintendo Wii, Digital UK, H&M, Fiat, and Mercedes.
Matthew Dearden, chief executive of Clear Channel and a member of the judging panel, said: "It was a privilege to judge the Clear Channel Outdoor Planning Awards, and to see the range and quality of entries. The best entries showed inspirational use of the medium and results for clients, providing a beacon for all to follow.
"As passionate believers in the power of outdoor to engage with consumers and build brands, Clear Channel is very proud that these awards continually raise standards across our industry and celebrate the best work."
A new category, Best Use of Digital in Outdoor, has been added to the roster this year.
Each of the five category winners will receive a prize of £1,000, while an overall Grand Prix winner will receive £30,000 of advertising space on Clear Channel's premium Pinnacle or digital formats, and a luxury short break for two. Last year's winner of the Grand Prix was Nike's Grid project.
The winners in each category and the Grand Prix will be announced at an invitation-only awards ceremony, with the shortlisted campaigns and agencies in attendance, on 25 April.
