Nationwide launches e-loans
Nationwide Building Society has launched an e-loan service.
Registered internet bankers can now apply for a flexible loan of up to
£15,000 online. Funds are transferred and all repayments are made
via the internet at www.nationwide.co.uk.
The e-loan is the latest facility to be added to Nationwide's online and
offline account, called FlexAccount, following the launch of an e-Saving
product last year. The online loan is being trialled with up to 50,000
of the building society's customers, with a full roll-out planned for
next year.
Nationwide has 700,000 registered users for its online banking
facilities.
