Communique360 poaches Rayat from Proximity London

LONDON - Integrated agency Communique360 has poached Anita Rayat from Proximity London to be its new media and communications planning director.

Rayat was media director at Proximity London, working on accounts such as CITB Construction Skills, RNLI, Save the Children and Sainsbury's to You.

Sunara Spires, managing director of Communique360, said: "Anita is a highly accomplished media professional with more than 10 years' experience in both brand and direct marketing, not only at Proximity but also at other leading agencies such as WWAV.

"Her broad knowledge base, having worked across varied account categories, has enabled her to become a strategic and creative thinker not just a channel planner."

Rayat was at Proximity for four years, and was previously senior planner and buyer at WWAV Rapp Collins for two years.

Communique360 is the integrated division of Group360, which has clients including Atoc, Mazda, Monarch, Luton Airport, the Society of London Theatres and the M6 Toll Road.

Tim Petherbridge, managing director of Group360, said: "This market is not simply about direct marketing anymore, it is about understanding the role that all media channels have in communicating a message to a defined audience. With people like Anita on board we are doing just that."

Richmond-based Communique360 recently won the £2m advertising and marketing account for Jersey Tourism.
