Demographix to introduce embedded media files to surveys
LONDON - Demographix is to introduce embedded video and audio files to its online surveys, which will allow its publishing customers to speed up responses from readers to products and campaigns.
The online survey company, which has contracts with IPC Media, Dennis and Hachette Filipacchi, said the new technology would benefit its clients by enabling them to test TV and web ads and lessen the response time to live campaigns.
Bobby Pickering, communications director at Demographix, said: "Researchers and marketing personnel, especially in our core media and publishing sectors, can now add clips of videos or audio files to their surveys and get immediate feedback from readers, website visitors or members."
Demographix said embedding video and audio questions into surveys would allow publishers to measure product response to both their own products and ad campaigns.
The technology is part of Demographix growing accessibility features, including Scoring Surveys, which returns immediate responses to questionnaires, and Save & Resume, which allows respondents to answer questions over a period of time.
