The agency will design a new consumer-facing site for each airport, as well as a new portal for the travel agency industry.
As part of the three-year contract, Rippleffect will also manage the new sites' search engine optimisation.
Katie Smorthit, head of marketing for Peel Airports Group, said: "A stand-out online presence is critical for us in our mission to position, for instance, John Lennon Airport as a gateway for the entire North West, rather than just Merseyside.
"Rippleffect's approach to the task in hand has been both creative and commercially-focused and they brought to the proposal a real understanding of our business alongside demonstrable and unrivalled expertise."
