TubeRadio.fm turns YouTube into Spotify rival
LONDON - A London-based company has launched a service which lets users create YouTube playlists, effectivly turning the video sharing website into a music streaming service to rival Spotify.
TubeRadio.fm turns YouTube into a music streaming service
Described as iTunes meets YouTube meets Spotify, TubeRadio.fm lets users browse YouTube to create playlists, organise music videos and share playlists over email, Twitter, and Facebook.
Users can also add a band's discography in one click, removing the need to search for each song individually.
While a song is playing, users can access tabs with extra information such as lyrics, artist biographies and suggestions for other albums they may like.
TubeRadio gives equal weighting to official video clips, live performances, bootlegs and rare recordings. The web app is easily accessible as it does not ask the user to download and install any software.
TubeRadio.fm also provides links for users to purchase the full album as a CD from Amazon or MP3 download from 7Digital.
