Audi has appointed BT marketer Nick Ratcliffe as its UK head of marketing to replace Dominic Chambers, who left the company last year. (Marketing)

Christine Mullin, Microsoft UK's chief operating officer of its online and advertising division, is to leave the technology giant, which will hand the bulk of her responsibilities to sales director Simon Davies. (Media Week)

Ogilvy PR London has hired Freud Communications' Alex Wood and former Freud creative Mat Rawlins to join the agency as creative directors. (PR Week)

Grayling has moved to expand its sustainability division Future Planet into the "cleantech£ arena through the appointment of Michael Saxton as joint MD. (PR Week)

BackBay Communications, the US financial comms agency that opened a London operation in 2011, has hired Citigate's Stephen Fishleigh as a London-based director. (PR Week)

APCO Worldwide has promoted Stig Albinus to chair its global healthcare practice and is keeping his predecessor Robert Schooling at the firm as president in the Americas. (PR Week)

CIPR CEO Jane Wilson will be stepping down from her job later this year. Wilson, who was appointed to the role in late 2010, will be departing in September. (PR Week)

Matt Tee, the former permanent secretary for government comms, has been called in by the NHS Confederation to lead its comms and member engagement operation. (PR Week)
