Wunderman's executive creative director Dave Harris has left the agency after six years. It is unclear if he has a job to go to. He will not be replaced. (Campaign)
Social media agency We Are Social has hired Jerome Courtial as its head of strategy. He jointed the agency year as freelance strategy director in November last year. (Campaign)
MediaCom has promoted Matthew Mee and Dominic Guba to its worldwide executive committee. Mee moves from his role as head of strategy for EMEA, to become the company’s first global chief strategy officer, while Guba has been named the agency’s new global chief investment officer, having previously been global head of trading. Interpublic has appointed Carter Murray, the president and chief executive of Y&R North America, to the role of chief executive of Draftfcb Worldwide, replacing Laurence Boschetto. (Campaign)
The Communications Agency has hired Jon Canning as its executive creative director. Canning, who replaces Shaun Moran, has operated as a freelance creative in recent years, having previously worked as a creative director at both Burkitt DDB and DDB London. (Campaign)
OMD UK has made two senior changes to its investment division, promoting Christian Byron to head of investment and hiring Vicky Fox, the head of planning at Thinkbox, to lead its new activation team. (Campaign)
Interpublic has promoted Andy Jones, the chief executive of UM London, to the new role of chief executive of IPG Mediabrands in the UK and Ireland. (Campaign)
Tesco has poached Facebook head of retail Gavin Sathianathan and Sainsbury's head of digital and cross-channel, Mark Bennett, to Blinkbox's books and music offering. (Marketing)
Virgin has recruited former Virgin Media chief marketing officer Nigel Gilbert with a remit to refocus the brand's "game-changing" ethos. (Marketing)
Barclaycard global brand director Gary Twelvetree has left the payments brand after nearly a decade. (Marketing)
Lord Sugar is to step down from his role as non-executive chairman of the internet-connected TV platform YouView within the next few weeks. (Media Week)
Bauer Media UK has hired Jo Parkerson to lead its new entertainment and lifestyle content hub, which shares content across the media group's magazine, radio, TV and online brands, including heat, Kiss, Planet Rock and Grazia. (Media Week)
Hearst Magazines UK has appointed Microsoft ad executive Stephen Edwards to the new role of group digital sales director. (Media Week)
Talon, the outdoor buying company set to take over the Omnicom Media Group account next month, has poached Kinetic's Yvonne Scullion to join in the new role of managing partner. (Media Week)
The Environment Agency has hired Lisa White as head of media and corporate comms. (PR Week)
Andrew Baiden, group MD of The Red Consultancy, is leaving the agency with immediate effect after 18 years to take a career break. (PR Week)
Gerry McFall, the UK head of external affairs at Anglo-Italian helicopter company AgustaWestland, has been elevated to manage global public affairs. (PR Week)
Pelham Bell Pottinger is to come under new day-to-day leadership as agency founder James Henderson concentrates on group-level management of Bell Pottinger Private. Gavin Davis will assume control of Bell Pottinger’s financial arm after being promoted to the role of managing director with immediate effect. (PR Week)
Kitty Ussher, a former MP and Treasury minister in the last Labour government, is joining Portland next week as chief economic adviser. (PR Week)
Hotwire's UK chief executive, Drew Benvie, and deputy managing director Giles Peddy are exiting the agency in separate moves. (PR Week)
