Noelle McElhatton

Editor
Marketing Direct

Noelle has been editor of Marketing Direct since February 2005, spearheading its relaunch later that year. Prior to this she edited Haymarket’s other DM monthly, Direct Response.

A business studies graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Noelle got her start in publishing at Century Hutchinson (now Random House). From there she moved to the Market Research Society where she held a number of roles, latterly as deputy editor of the monthly magazine Research.

Noelle has spoken at conferences and on radio, most recently on BBC Radio 4's You and Yours programme about direct marketing. Her freelance work includes articles on marketing, DM and market research published in the Financial Times, Campaign, Marketing magazine and the Sunday Tribune.

She is currently managing the transition of Marketing Direct from a print publication to online formats. A new website is due for launch in early March 2009.
