As features editor, Alex carefully works out what the features should be for the next month or so, plotting their focus, angle, structure and layout. Then he sits back while someone else writes them for him.
He also edits the profile, Campaigns and media pages, deciding what should go on them before getting someone else to write most of them.
Before PRWeek, Alex worked for various newswires and also had a stint at The Big Issue (writing for it, not selling) after journalism college.
He comes from the south coast, lives in south London, and likes nothing better than disappearing to a hot, interesting faraway country with a decent camera and a hammock.
Alex has been at PRWeek for three and a half years, but is hoping for time off for good behaviour soon.
