Richard joined Marketing as deputy editor in February 2008. His role includes heading up Marketing's supplements, special reports and leagues, while deputising for editor Lucy Barrett. 

He moved to Marketing after two years in Dubai, where he was part of the launch team on Campaign Middle East.

Prior to this, he was features editor on Media Week and a reporter on Retail Newsagent, the Oxford Mail and the Banbury Guardian.
