BSkyB and Shine Communications work together on Simpsons celebrations
It is ten years since The Simpsons first hit UK television screens, and BSkyB has hired Shine Communications to work with its press office to promote celebrations of the anniversary. The agency will work chiefly to publicise the Sky One Simpsons Mania Tour 2000. This tour sees the full cast of Simpsons voice actors, including Dan Castellaneta, the voice of Homer Simpson, and Nancy Cartwright, who plays Bart Simpson, touring the UK and giving live script readings of viewers’ favourite episodes in London, Edinburgh and Reading. Simpsons creator Matt Groening will also appear on the tour.
