Murdoch unveils Sky Italia after €920m Vivendi deal

NEW YORK - News Corporation and its Italian partner Telecom Italia are to pay €920m (£578m) for the Italian pay-TV unit Telepiu, owned by troubled Vivendi Universal, to create Sky Italia, boosting Rupert Murdoch's goal of building a global pay-TV empire.
