Coca-Cola to promote entire Fanta range
Coca-Cola GB is to promote the entire Fanta range for the first time in the latest TV ad for the brand, which breaks this weekend. Created by Soul, the ad uses Fanta's established endline, 'Why can't everything be as fruity as Fanta'. The animated spot, called 'Van Chase', uses the soundtrack 'Way of Life' by Stylophonic. It shows the character Tongue Man and his friends chasing a drinks van to get hold of their favourite Fanta flavours. It ends with them enjoying their drinks under fruit-laden palm trees on the beach. Fanta is now the sixth-biggest UK soft drink by adspend, with Coca-Cola investing £4.4m in the brand during 2002, according to MindShare. It was the fastest-growing major soft drink last year, putting on 50% in sales value, with take-home sales of £149m, according to ACNielsen.
