T-Mobile sponsors Rolling Stones' European tour
T-Mobile is leveraging its sponsorship of The Rolling Stones' European tour with a pan-European TV campaign using the strapline: 'Let your rock 'n' roll out'. A 30-second ad features a young man in a seaside location listening to a polyphonic ringtone of a Rolling Stones track via his mobile. He encounters a female busker who stops her classical recital, choosing instead to smash up her violin. The man also passes an air-guitar playing waiter and a group of stage-diving tourists before the soundtrack melts into a polyphonic ringtone of The Stones' 'You got me rocking'. The campaign breaks imminently in Germany and will air in the UK next month. Creative is by Saatchi & Saatchi, with media planned and bought by Universal McCann.
