Desmond defends role as adult publisher in interview
LONDON – Express Newspapers proprietor Richard Desmond drummed a lot and talked about his label as a pornographer as he addressed critics who complain about his suitability to own a national newspaper, in his first TV interview last night since he took over the company in November 2000.
