MEDIA BRIEF: Daily Telegraph appoints editor
THE DAILY TELEGRAPH: The Daily Telegraph this week appointed Martin Newland as editor to replace Charles Moore, who is to retire. Newland was formerly deputy editor of the National Post of Canada and prior to that has worked as home news editor of the Telegraph. Sarah Sands continues as deputy editor and becomes Saturday editor.
