Davies warns on Sky and says BBC to reject licence rise

LONDON - The BBC is unlikely to call for a licence-fee hike during the review of its charter, as it would be 'laughed out of court', according to its former chairman Gavyn Davies, who also warned that the future of ITV was threatened by the 'colossus' BSkyB.
