Media News: Media choice - Standard Lite
The launch of the free Evening Standard variant Standard Lite raises more questions than it provides answers. First, is it too good? There is a fair amount to consume; certainly a lot for a brief lunch hour, especially when so many of the targeted 600,000 'office out-and-abouts' probably just grab a sandwich and rush back to their desks to work, or else log on to the internet. Internet use is at its peak at lunchtime and I cannot see Standard Lite feeding the needs of real-time news junkies.
