EBay confirms Skype acquisition in deal worth up to $4.1bn
LONDON - Online auction giant eBay has agreed to buy internet telephone company Skype Technologies for a minimum of $2.6bn (£1.4bn) in cash and shares, with a potential further $1.5bn being paid depending on performance.
