News brief: Sainsbury's Bank appoints chief executive
Sainsbury's Bank has appointed Rob Walker as chief executive. Walker joins from HSBC, where he was general manager head of credit and risk. He replaces Tim Pile, who left Sainsbury's Bank in March. Separately, recently retired BBC newsreader Anna Ford has joined Sainsbury's as a non-executive director.
