Plans for a extension unveiled by London's Tate Modern

Plans for a £215 million extension have been unveiled by London's Tate Modern. The 11-storey extension, designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron, comprises ten galleries, two performance spaces, shops, cafes and a public terrace. It also features a carbon-free energy strategy. The scheme will be submitted for planning approval this autumn.
