News Corp notches up 9% rise in annual profits

LONDON - Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation has pulled in annual profits of $2.31bn (£1.21bn), up 8.7%, on revenues of $25.33bn (£13.27bn), up 6.2%, with every division apart from newspapers achieving record operating income.
