Bidding war breaks out for Boots as rival £10.8bn bid made
LONDON - A bidding war is breaking out for Alliance Boots as a rival consortium, led by Terra Firma, makes a bid worth £10.8bn in competition with the £10.6bn takeover offer from private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, which was has been accepted by the board.
