Telefonica sells majority stake in Endemol
LONDON - Spanish telecoms giant Telefonica has sold its remaining 75% stake in Endemol, the television company that makes hits 'Big Brother' and 'Deal Or No Deal', to a consortium that includes Italy's former prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi, and the company's co-founder John de Mol, for €2.63bn (£1.79bn).
