Acxiom takeover given cautious thumbs up
UK clients of Acxiom, one of the world's leading database marketing services providers, have welcomed its planned acquisition by a US private equity group, which will see the firm taken from public to private ownership. But the reaction is more cautious to speculation that the deal may see Acxiom sell its European operations.
