The Week: Media News - Heat radio gets reworked
Emap is dropping ad spots on Heat radio in favour of sponsorship, promotions and ad-funded programming. As part of a relaunch planned for September, the digital radio station will work exclusively with five clients, whose advertising will be worked into radio content. The station's output will also be changed to align it more closely with Heat magazine, and will include breaking celebrity news, listeners reporting celebrity sightings and celebrity takeover shows.
