The Week: Media news - MySpace signs music deal
MySpace has signed up to a joint venture with the record labels Sony BMG, Warner Music and Universal to launch a revamped music download service in a bid to rival iTunes. The News Corporation-owned social networking site will allow users to download tracks made by artists from three of the world's biggest record labels via its MySpace Music site.
