Moving on up: Appointment at Kangaroo
Ashley Highfield has left his job as the BBC's director, future media and technology, to become chief executive officer at Kangaroo, the three-way joint venture between BBC Worldwide, ITV and Channel 4. Highfield takes over from Lesley Mackenzie. Highfield will take responsibility for negotiations with third-party content owners and assure future distribution of the commercial service on other platforms.
