The Week: Advertising news - ASA probes anti-KFC ad
The Advertising Standards Authority is investigating an ad by the animal-rights group Peta that shows KFC's Colonel Sanders about to knife a chicken, after a complaint that it was offensive and could distress children. The caricature, which appeared on the front cover of a leaflet, is part of a campaign by Peta against what it calls "KFC cruelty".
