Entertainment Industry Foundation introduces anti-smoking PSAs on DVDs
LOS ANGELES: The Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) launched its first consumer-facing program on July 11, when it introduced anti-smoking PSAs on youth-rated DVDs that include smoking. The State of California, which created the PSAs, and six major studios-Paramount, Warner Bros., Sony Pictures Entertainment, Twentieth Century Fox, Universal Pictures, and Walt Disney Company-partnered with the nonprofit entertainment organization to help deglamorize smoking in movies, said Judi Ketcik, the VP of communications for the EIF.
