The Week: Media news - Sky awarded more games
BSkyB has extended the number of live games that it can show in a season to 115, while Setanta has dropped from 46 to 23 after the auction for the live football TV rights packages from the Premier League. BSkyB paid £1.6 billion for five of the six available, and Setanta paid £159 million for one. They will run from 2010 to 2013.
