Hotline: National Savings drops Sir Alan Sugar from ad campaign

National Savings & Investments has dropped Sir Alan Sugar from its ad campaigns, created by Chick Smith Trott, after he accepted a role as a government advisor. The state-owned bank has had to end its relationship with the star of The Apprentice because Cabinet Office rules prohibit the use of political figures in government advertising.
