Disney acquires Marvel Entertainment for $4bn

LONDON - Walt Disney is to buy Marvel Entertainment, owner of comic book characters such as 'Spider Man', 'X-Men' and 'Iron Man', for $4bn (£2.45bn) in a cash and shares deal.
