ITV1 puts in strong weekend ratings performance

LONDON - ITV1 trounced BBC One in the TV ratings this weekend as 'Doc Martin' and 'Benidorm' mimicked 'The X Factor's ability to outshine the corporation's output, according to unofficial overnight figures.
