ISP appoints Swift as chief executive

LONDON - The ISP has appointed former Marketing Week publisher Annie Swift to the newly—created position of chief executive.
Swift, who was also publishing director of Centaur titles Precision Marketing and New Media Age, the left in February following a restructure at the company.
This is the first time the ISP has appointed a chief executive. The ISP said Swift had been given a brief to expand the ISP’s services. She will take up the position on 2 June.

ISP chairman Clive Mishon said: “The brief we set ourselves was to appoint someone that already had a profile in the marketing industry who could not only provide leadership for the ISP but help change people’s perceptions of sales promotion and the ISP.”
