LONDON - Cinema chain Cineworld has appointed BD NTWK to its integrated account.
The cinema group, which recently merged with rival group UCG, was looking for an agency to create a brand strategy to link up the two chains (Promotions & Incentives, April). The pitch was overseen by the AAR.

There has been speculation in the marketing press that the business has been handed to Billington Cartmell.
Cineworld plans to retain the two fascias but is looking for an agency to create campaigns which will run seamlessly across the two brands.
Although the work will initially consist of brand strategy, promotional and point of sale activity will form a considerable element of the brief.
