Former Three PR head Richard Leonard launches Scribbler Communications
The former head of PR for mobile giant Three has started his own agency.
Richard Leonard: headed up PR at Three
Richard Leonard, who joined the mobile network last year on an interim basis, has now launched Scribbler Communications.
Scribbler counts among its launch clients Honda UK, Honda Motor Europe, Fubra, Traackr and SEOptimise.
The launch comes after Leonard recently returned to agency-side as a freelancer, following his year at Three on a maternity cover contract.
Previously he was a co-founder and director of PR agency Brazil, with clients including 118 118, Honda UK, GfK NOP and Swiftcover.
Leonard said: ‘In an industry going through a huge transition as the lines between "offline" and "online", and "bought" and "earned" coverage remain increasingly blurred, demand for good old fashioned traditional media coverage remains. Social and digital are a key part of the mix, but my focus is on column inches, earned not paid for, generated by a small and senior team with the highest standards.’
Leonard has been in the industry for 15 years, starting out a agency Le Fevre Communications in 2001, working for clients including BT and Dixons Group.
