NHBC: Brief for InHouse Communications

The National House-Building Council (NHBC) has given InHouse Communications a six-figure brief to help position it as market leader.

The organisation acts as standards setter and warranty and insurance provider for the housing market.

However, its own figures recently revealed that the number of new homes built dropped by nine per cent during 2012.

The company’s brief is to boost the corporate profile of NHBC as the ‘go-to’ authority on raising standards of new homes and the leading provider of consumer protection for new home owners.

It will also look to raise the profile of NHBC’s new chief executive Mike Quinton, who started in the post four months ago.

Jo Tanner, co-founder of InHouse Communications, said: ‘We will be looking to highlight the benefit of new homes over older ones and put them at the heart of the debate in terms of the big issues such as planning and energy consumption.’
