I cannot understand why interactive television is so often sold as a direct marketing (DM) tool...I cannot understand why interactive television is so often sold as a direct marketing (DM) tool, when it will have to fulfil all of the advertising and marketing needs that the analogue TV it replaces does today, with direct marketing as an extra add-on.
