Since Brand Republic launched in 2001, we've enjoyed enormous success in bringing marketing, advertising and media stories to the UK’s biggest online marcomms community.

 When we meet our users we are always keen to hear their feedback and one topic that comes up frequently is Brand Republic’s site search.

This is why we've spent the past three months working to improve it - adding new functionality, tweaking, refining and upgrading – so we can now release our new search in Beta.

Why Beta?
We think we've produced a much better site search but there’s nothing like Beta testing to check the improvements. During this short Beta phase, you can use either the old or new search and tell us what you think in this short survey. We’ll evaluate your feedback and hope to move out of Beta in the New Year.

Enhancements
The new search service has a number of key benefits including:

• Relevancy
  We think our new search is much better at returning relevant results for your searches. You can also take advantage of the more sophisticated search syntax to ensure the results you receive reflect your specific requirements. See Advanced Search help for more information on this. 
• Searching all the different types of content
  To date, our search has only returned articles matching your search criteria. However, Best Bets returns results including categories, thus providing a more comprehensive search environment.
• More related articles
  Greater contextual links within articles. Our search engine will return up to 10 'more articles like this' links for each article, ensuring that you can fully explore your area of interest with minimal effort.
